Healing Brings Clarity Back to Your Life

Healing Brings Clarity Back to Your Life healing brings clarity back to your life

When you’ve experienced the shock of someone who was once your best friend or the love of your life becoming abusive, you may begin to develop a general sense of cynicism about life. It might feel like no one can be trusted anymore because the person you once shared wonderful moments with has now taken a dark turn. You start to view things and situations from a negative perspective, even when something good is happening to help you on your journey. You may become a bit suspicious or tend to focus on the negative aspects of the good. Your outlook on life has been distorted by this betrayal, and you might become convinced that the world is a dark and untrustworthy place. You might even convince yourself that you’ll never enter into a relationship again, and you view yourself as the one who failed in the previous relationship, resistant to any contrary opinions.

Impact of Betrayal and Abuse on Your Inner Beliefs

This is what it means to harbor deep-rooted negative beliefs about yourself. Your actions and behaviors in real life reflect these deeply ingrained subconscious beliefs. When these beliefs are tainted or smeared, your clarity in life is compromised because you can’t seem to see things as they truly are. Instead, you view them through the filter of your own negative beliefs, which have been reinforced by the hurtful experiences caused by people you’ve loved in your life.

When you are repeatedly betrayed, cheated on, emotionally abused, or hurt by those you care about, your inner belief system, which serves as the compass guiding your thoughts and emotions, becomes distorted. This distortion makes it challenging to differentiate between the good and the bad in your present life because the filter is broken or the sorting tool is not functioning effectively. Consequently, you may perceive the good as bad and the bad as good, ultimately inviting negative elements into your life. This can manifest as unhealthy habits and self-sabotaging behaviors, such as isolation, emotional eating, excessive drinking, or even rushing into new relationships while ignoring red flags.

Inability to See Your Goodness

You may struggle to recognize the beautiful aspects of yourself, such as your kindness, resilience, good parenting, good health, and other positive qualities you have. Recognizing that they are abusive can be difficult to fully appreciate. Nonetheless, this realization should serve as a guiding light, leading you towards a more positive and healthier path, away from their harmful influence. However, it’s not easy to see these things when there are obstacles obstructing your clear line of sight.

Challenging those Negative Beliefs

When you work on challenging those negative beliefs by processing the emotions and sensations that hold these beliefs in place, you will regain clarity. You’ll be able to differentiate between the negative and positive elements in your current life. By replacing that distorted filter, you will begin to recognize the good qualities you possess and understand that you couldn’t have changed the past. You’ll be okay with being a single parent, as it’s not the end of the world; rather, it’s the start of something better. It’s an opportunity for deeper exploration of the darker aspects within yourself and a spiritual journey to understand the meaning of inner peace.

You won’t be surprised or shocked when encountering manipulative or abusive individuals, as you’ll be able to see the broader perspective of a world where cruelty exists within us, often suppressed or ignored, waiting for the right moment to surface.

When you view the world through a distorted filter, you may find yourself preoccupied with questions like “why” and “how could they do that,” often leading to unrealistic expectations. However, once that filter is repaired, you’ll begin to see the world in its entirety. You’ll come to understand that humans are capable of both cruelty and kindness, and these aspects are intrinsic to the human experience.

In conclusion, when you invest in working on your negative beliefs at a deeper level, you will gain a clearer perception of the world around you. This clarity will enable you to identify red flags and walk away from toxic situations, recognize manipulative behavior, lies, and deceit without being deeply shocked. You’ll come to understand that you are responsible for yourself, and that realization is enough.

You will gain insight into the truth of your past relationships and make peace with them. Your actions and behaviors will no longer be mere reactions to the past but will instead stem from your authentic self. This newfound clarity will help you identify what you truly want to pursue and establish your priorities in your present life.

So, go beyond surface-level considerations and dive deeper into transforming those beliefs that either deceive you or limit your potential in your current life. Countless opportunities await, but you’ll only see them once you release those self-imposed restraints.
